Not a long post. Massive preparation going on for the holiday club at Glory for Education on Monday and Tuesday.
It has been a good week. People returned from a successful trip to see the gorrillas. Tuesday was my birthday (David) and was amazing. The main thing was a BBQ in the evening with loads of people from church. Absolutely fantastic!
The rest of the week was sad and difficult. Some of us have had colds (some still have) and we were all finishing our time of teaching. Exams next week will mean lots of time with the teachers which will be good.
Not much more to say.

“Hey I’m Freya, and I’m from Oxford – best city in the world. I’m hoping to go to Edinburgh or Durham next year (I have yet to hear from them) to study Psychology and Philosophy. For my gap year I went to France September to December, teaching English in a couple of schools, and now I’m here in Uganda. I’m really looking forward to starting the teaching. I hope be of use to the schools and serve God while I’m out here, but also to learn something as well. This is a huge challenge for me, so prayers are very much appreciated. X”

Since September I have worked at an international development company where I received many tips about life in Kampala (although mostly on which restaurants to go to!)"

I've been going to Emmanuel Wimbledon for about 4yrs which is how I heard about the job in Crosslinks, and right at the start I came to Emmanuel because I moved to London with a uni friend called Mary who had heard of the church through her church back at home... so I COULD blame this whole thing on her!!!"

"I work for Lymington Rushmore Holidays as an Associate, which involves a fair spread of administration, speaking in schools about Jesus, and leading teams to Uganda! I love watching any sport (especially Rushden and Diamonds FC), and playing anything with a ball when I get the chance. I'm also a keen musician, hardly ever separated from my i-pod (other MP3 players are available!)"

I love sport and can't wait to share my interest with the Ugandan's! I am also however very excited about teaching other things and sharing the gospel! "I am going to study architecture at Bath University in the autumn. I am a keen tennis player and artist and worked as a post boy in a Job centre to raise the money for this trip- well fun, not.I go to church in West Wickham (Kent). I can play the clarinet and played rugby at school. I'm looking forward to seeing some Ugandan rugby, apparently they are pretty good!"
